Drake Pet Hospital is a full service, small animal veterinary hospital. We offer many services such as preventive care, diagnostics and treatment, dentistry and surgery. We carry a variety of pet supplies and toys, pet foods, grooming and dental care aids.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality veterinary care possible. We work together toward a common goal: giving our clients the very best care they want and deserve.
Preventive Medicine
Our goal is to help your pet stay happy and healthy well into its senior years. We believe early screening for disease will help keep your pet on the road to good health. Annual physical examinations, laboratory screening for disease, and vaccinations that are based on your pet’s risk of exposure to disease are highly advised.
Laboratory
Our in house lab allows us to rapidly diagnose many conditions. Our capabilities include CBCs (complete blood counts), serum chemistries, urinalysis, cytology, feline leukemia, FIV and heartworm testing

Surgery
We perform many routine and advanced surgeries, including spays/neuters, orthopedic, soft tissue and gasrtrointestinal surgeries. Should your pet need surgery, rest assured he/she will receive the best of care. Your pet will be monitored closely during its surgery with modern equipment including continuous blood pressure and pulse oximeter monitors.
We also work closely with surgical specialists, should your pet need a specialized or unusual surgical technique.
Dentistry
Good dental health is essential to your pet’s well being. Gingivitis and periodontal disease are common conditions in our pets. Oral health and overall health are directly related. We have the equipment and technology to perform routine cleanings, extractions, radiographs, root canals and other periodontal work that can help prolong the life of your pet. We will be happy to talk to you about preventative measures you can do at home and the dental care products that help.
Radiology - Ultrasound
Our x-ray machine and film processing equipment enables us to obtain high quality diagnostic information about your pet’s condition in a matter of minutes.
Another diagnostic tool we can utilize, the ultrasound, allows us to quickly and painlessly detect possible masses and soft tissue problems, pregnancy and bladder stones. This is performed on site by board certified veterinary radiologists.
